Safer Lambeth Business Partnership

Lambeth is a colourful, vibrant and unique part of London, home to restaurants, bars, shops and businesses welcoming thousands of residents, workers and other visitors every day.

The Business Improvement Districts of Vauxhall, Waterloo, Brixton, Clapham and Streatham, together with the South Bank Employers’ Group have committed time and energy into making a difference to their neighbourhoods. Reduction of crime and the perception of crime is a key driver in this.

Safer Lambeth and partner agencies are working hard with local residents and businesses to crack down on crime and anti-social behaviour, whilst still preserving the unique character which makes Lambeth so popular.

Working with the police and Lambeth Council we have developed an exciting new Business Crime Reduction Partnership. This enables all areas to share information and real time communications with each other and the Police. Not only will this reduce crime in Lambeth but it will link with other partnerships in Central London for improved cross border intelligence and information sharing. We recommend it to all businesses as it creates an extensive network and has the potential to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour across the spectrum of businesses throughout the borough.
